Brother
Beat Kitano in a classical role as a Yakuza on exile. Makes his distinct mark on America in a few ways - especially, on how to make a gangster movie with no more than 1 expression. Lots of blood and comedy. Perfectly enjoyable.
Kitano is indeed "Aniki". I love the way he uses the camera. Long shots without making the camera follow the characters. He has this knack of making still films which let you sit back and take in every moment be it violence or comedy.
